Will it stick leg? That's the question I've been asking this month!
As an artist who has ADHD, making decisions can be difficult at times, especially when it comes to creating.
In July, I posted an S.O.S. video on my TikTok and YouTube, asking what types of animals I should draw next.
At the time, I realized I'd been drawing the same few animals over and over again. It was to the point of hyper fixation; the amount of bunny-styled stickers available in my shop at the moment is insane.
However, after posting my S.O.S. video, I received an incredible amount of responses sharing what they wanted me to draw.
When I tell you I received so many comments that I was becoming overwhelmed with decision paralysis, I'm not joking.
That was until one of you suggested the random selection method, which entails that I write all the suggestions down onto slips of paper, fold them up, and put them into a bowl to choose from.
A genius idea, by the way!
So, that's what I did. Cue the new series called, "Will it Stick Leg?"
The moment I have the energy to draw, I grab a piece of paper from the cupped hands dish and complete a few sketches.
The goal is to create a sketch, turn it into a complete concept, and then make stickers of the design. How many stickers, you might ask? Currently, I don't know. At the moment, I'm just enjoying the fact that I don't have to put much thought into what I'm drawing, only that I'm drawing something.
So far, I've drawn thirteen different animals; most have stick legs, some are horrific, and one... is currently fighting me.
To follow along with the chaos be sure to join me on TikTok and YouTube! Who knows what I’ll draw next and if it will in fact stick legs?
Until next time Art Cult!
