Last month we talked about Taurus and Emerald. This month we will be discussing Gemini and its crystal Rainbow Moonstone.
Gemini is from May 21st – June 21st.
Gemini is a talkative and emotionally intelligent person. They are known as the masters of words, ideas, and connection. Which makes sense as the liveliest of the Air signs. However, they are known for having two personalities, one they carefully curated for the world to see. And one they keep to themselves.
As a Gemini, this comes as no surprise due to the Latin translation of their name being twins. Which is seen in both Babylonian Astrology and Greek Mythology. Gemini is represented by the stars Caster & Pollux, or better known as Lugal-irra and Meslenta-ea in Babylonian Astrology. Translated to “The Mighty King” and “The one Who has Arisen from The Underworld,” many suggest they represent Zeus and Hades.
However, in Greek Mythology they are twins born of two fathers. Zeus seduced Leda and had Pollux. Then Leda had a son by her husband Tyndareus, the king of Sparta. When Caster passed due to being a mortal, Pollux begged his father, Zeus to grant his brother immortality. Which he granted by uniting them in the heaves.
Rainbow Moonstone is known for having a calming and gentle energy. By strengthening ones inner peace, it allows them to see their inner creativity and worth. Rainbow Moonstone is also known to aid in clarity during times of change due to conflicting emotions. Especially if they are hiding their true feelings, as Gemini are known to due.
Rainbow Moonstone reminds Gemini that their feelings and thoughts matter. Not only to themselves but the people around them. Assuring them that they can show more than the chatty idea having side of themselves. Because vulnerability and honesty is just as important as dependability and strength.
